Manatee Madness Auction

It's time to celebrate creativity and community spirit as HfHUK presents “Manatee Madness.”

This exciting online fundraising auction features six exquisitely crafted manatee "baby" statues and four full sized mailboxes designed by the following talented local artists and organizations:

  • Kemmy from Ocean Studies Charter School
  • Pasta Pantaleo
  • Roman from Plantation Key School
  • Seaside Glassworks
  • Tere Kelley from Key Largo Art Gallery
  • Treasure Village Montessori
  • Valerie Perreault Studios

Bidding opens Monday, October 16 at 10:00 am and ends on Saturday, November 4 at 5:00 pm.

To kick off the event, the captivating manatee artworks will be on display at: 

City Hall Café's wine tasting event October 17, 6:30 to 8:30 pm at 88511 Overseas Highway in Tavernier.

Morada Way Art Walk on October 19, 6:00 to 9:00 pm, at 151 Morada Way in Islamorada. 

100% of the proceeds from “Manatee Madness” will go towards the construction of affordable housing in the Upper Keys.
