Horizon Plumbing volunteered its services again this year to do all of the Plumbing for Habitat for Humanity of the Upper Keys current build of two homes in Largo Gardens. Robert Chaplin, owner of Horizon Plumbing, brought two teams of master plumbers and apprentice plumbers to work at the two sights which are located around the corner from each other in Largo Gardens. The plumbers volunteer their time, and the apprentices are able to count the time towards their requirements towards becoming a licensed plumber. This type of volunteering saves the Habitat homeowners thousands of dollars and helps to keep their mortgages low and the houses truly affordable.
